To Contribute

TWS welcomes contributions relevant to medical or regulatory writing that educate, inform, entertain or provoke debate. Authors do not have to be members of EMWA. Contributions can be in the form of original articles, opinion pieces or reports (up to 2500 words). Smaller contributions (up to 1000 words) may also be submitted as opinion pieces, reports, news items and letters. Book reviews and reviews of websites relevant to medical writing are also welcome (up to 1500 words).

All articles are subject to editing and revision by the Editorial Board. Any changes will be discussed with the author before publication. Suitable quotes for side boxes can be indicated or they can be selected by the Editorial Board. Published articles generally include a recent photograph of the author (portrait picture, CV or passport style, min. 360 x 510 pixels).

If you would like to have an article considered for publication in TWS, please add the relevant details to the form below and upload your document. Material should be submitted by e-mail as an MS Word file using Arial (or equivalent), 10 point size, and single spacing.

Once submitted, your article will then be reviewed by the editorial board and the Journal Editor, Elise Langdon-Neuner, will contact you to confirm whether or not your article is suitable for an upcoming issue of TWS.
